We are so excited to share this stunning wedding at The Oaks from Megan Beth Photography! Katie is truly a DIY bride, explaining, “On the wedding day, we had several elements that not only do I take pride in planning, but I also take pride in making them. Yes, there were many DIY items at the Helms-Jolicoeur wedding. You can thank my overly active right brain and impulsive need to buy the newest bridal magazine. If it was something I could make, I did. Order menus? No thank you. I printed the top card, punched the whole, added the brad and tied the ribbon through the top. (Disclaimer: I utilized my selfless and amazing friends to help me make these DIY projects both more fun and more time efficient—lucky for me they are amazing friends!) I made programs as fans to help with the July heat. I printed on card stock and used my trusty paper cutter to cut the copies and then paste between the two sides an over-sized popsicle stick. Finished off with a navy and white striped ribbon, of course. I had made the welcome books rather than having a printer do them. I made the labels for the bottles (both water and wine) by creating the template on my computer and printing test runs until I had the perfect size.”
We love it! From the stunning details to the emotional moments of their wedding day, Katie & Mike really had a spectacular celebration in St. Michael’s! Enjoy these images from their special day!
