Khanh explains, “the engagement locations are special to us. Southern Maryland is Derrick’s hometown and I just fell in love with this place the first time I came to visit him. It’s amid the natural beauty of thick woods, colorful wildflower fields and the magnificent estuary formed by the Potomac and Patuxent rivers. When I came to visit, Derrick usually took me to the Chesapeake Bay, my favorite spot, to detox our mind and to leave all craziness from the wedding planning and our hectic schedule behind.”
