Today’s session is absolutely beautiful! The talented Eli Turner Studios out of Washington, DC submitted the images with a beautiful description from the bride to be! We love it so much that we’ll let Sandy take it from here:
“Dal and I were supposed to be set up on a blind date a year before we actually met, but it didn’t work out – neither of us was very interested in meeting the other based on what we’d heard through a mutual friend. Exactly one year later, I started working at the church where he was a member, he saw me and though it took several months, found a way to introduce himself and eventually ask me out for coffee. It didn’t take long for me to realize he was the one I had been almost set up with, and we both agreed timing was much better this time around.
We chose to go to Annapolis because I have always thought of it as a beautiful, accessible city, I love the small-town, historical feel and architecture, and it was where we had our first special date very early in our relationship. Dal spent several years there in the Naval Academy, and he gave me a tour of the campus during that date. It was my first time seeing the grounds of the Academy, and I loved it! When it came time to choose a location for our engagement shoot, we both agreed Annapolis and the Academy were our first choice.”

[...] Sandy and Dal were married on a beautiful summer afternoon this past June. The couple is crazy adorable and were so easy to photograph. With Dal’s hearty sense of humor and Sandy’s gentle grace, we were able to capture a number of beautiful moments. It was a real treat to see and photograph my first traditional Korean wedding ceremony and I really loved the vibrant colors and interesting details. If you are interested you can see the engagement session I took of Sandy and Dal this past Spring in Annapolis it’s featured over on Bayside Brides! [...]
