Tucked away off Riva Road in Annapolis, Allison Barnhill Designs is your place for super-cute, high-quality, handmade save-the-dates, invitations and more! I stopped by Allison’s studio with two of my fellow editors, Mia and Kate. What looks like a simple office building on the outside opens into a quaint, colorful, happy studio with walls of paper products in every color. My favorite detail was the paper swatch ring Allison had fanned out – so many colors to choose from!

Allison Barnhill Designs hand-makes every invitation and paper product they sell. Each bride’s invites are custom-designed so you are sure to get exactly what you are looking for! Even more, Allison prints every product in-house. She has control over every aspect of her designs which results in a beautifully crafted product handmade with exquisite care!

Allison got her start by designing details for her own wedding. As more friends and family asked Allison to work on their own weddings, she decided it was time to go into business! Eight years later, Allison is a well-established designer in the invitation world. She has received Bride’s Choice Awards from both Wedding Wire and The Capital. Allison’s staff is as sweet as can be and the studio is full of upbeat happiness, quality invitations, save-the-dates and paper accessories!

Take a look at these invitations. Aren’t they the best? Allison had an entire nautical set-up complete with pinwheels – too cute! I also loved the wedding favor boxes she had stacked up, decorated with the couple’s initials.
