Winter weddings in Annapolis are truly spectacular! There are very few places in the world where you can get married and stroll beautiful docks along the Bay in December. Today’s gorgeous winter wedding was captured by David Stuck Photography at the Annapolis Yacht Club and is truly one of the most beautiful local winter weddings that we’ve seen this year!
Congratulations Brooke & Keith!

In the Bride’s Words:
“Keith and I were married on an unseasonably mild, perfect December evening. We found something magical about celebrating our two year anniversary by promising our love to one another in front of fifty of our closest friends and family members.
We chose the Annapolis Yacht Club because it is in the center of the city we love the most. All of our major milestones as a couple have been in Annapolis, where we re-united, our first date, our engagement, where we live; it was only fitting to be married there as well.
The day of our wedding was picture perfect. Keith and I decided to take the traditional route, and not see each other before our ceremony. Keith chose to take his afternoon photographs around the historic city of Annapolis, while I chose to take mine on the docs overlooking Spa Creek.
At our reception, the mix of candle light, white roses, and red cranberries, brought our definition of a romantic winter evening to life… of course the black ties, our amazing harpist, and the dabbles of Frank Sinatra helped as well.
Keith and I created a seasonal menu which was perfect for our family style gathering. We gave our guests the option of an entrée from the land or the sea. We served crab imperial stuffed rockfish and traditional pork tenderloin with dried cranberry and fruit stuffing. As for dessert we gave our guests pumpkin chocolate chip bread pudding, it was amazing! Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Keith and I decided to have four different flavor cheesecakes from our favorite baker, Peace of Cake.
I am truly thankful for all of our vendors. Our coordinators, Robert and Tricia at the AYC helped us create an event that was truly seamless. Our florist, Michael Designs, truly understood my vision; our floral arrangements were simplistically gorgeous. Our stationary vendor, The Preppy Paperie, captured the romanticism I craved. She was also able to re-create the map that was in our invitations to a sizable framed map that greeted our guests; it now hangs in our home. And lastly, our wonderful photographer, David Stuck, he truly captured every single magical moment, from beginning to end. Keith and I will forever treasure our beautiful photographs and the memories we created on that December evening.”
