Three weeks ago, we hosted a styled shoot on a beautiful Discovery 55 yacht, the Kalandia, that is currently docked in Annapolis, Maryland! The boat hails from Portsmouth, England and we were lucky enough to have a chance to photograph Rebecca and Cody on it while it visits the local area! Two of Rebecca’s lovely dresses were purchased at one of our favorite local shops – Diva! There were also so many incredible members of our Fleet Crew that contributed to making this vision into a reality. We especially want to thank Angela of Behind the Veil for doing makeup, Liu Liu Salon and Spa for hair, Starboard Clothing Co. for providing Cody’s bow-ties, Intrigue Design & Decor for a variety of stunning floral arrangements, Allison Barnhill Designs for our adorable “Sail Away” sign, and Rebecca who both modeled and provided the beautiful Stella and Dot jewelry!
Our inspiration for the shoot was a nautical romance. Something that felt like an Annapolis engagement session in every detail! As photographers, both Krista and Natalie contributed to the images in this shoot! We are extremely excited to showcase a few of our favorites! Enjoy and let us know what you think!
Some of our favorites from the shoot are with Cody in his Naval Academy Uniform! So Annapolitan!
Throughout the day, Krista was also taking video with her camera to capture the behind the scenes footage of all the different elements that went into the shoot! It’s so cute!
We are so grateful to each and every person that helped us with the shoot! We would especially like to thank Rebecca, Cody, Mark Pipkin and the owners of the Kalandia for giving us permission to use their stunning yacht as the venue for our Annapolis photography shoot. We would also like to thank Taylor Michie of Racing Winds for coming out to cover the event!
