Tomorrow has been a long time coming. Seven years of phone calls, date nights, high school graduations, college graduations, first apartments, new puppies, new jobs… They’ve gone from wondering if the other is interested, to an awkward first date to knowing that this is it, that there is no one in the world that they could possibly love more.
When Natalie and I first met in a coffee shop two and a half years ago, she gushed over her amazing boyfriend Hugh. As this site grew and our lives became more and more about weddings, we couldn’t help but dream about Natalie and Huey’s day.
Tomorrow is going to be beautiful. There is absolutely no doubt about it. In true Bayside fashion, we went overboard with the details and every single aspect of tomorrow will be incredible. We’ve taken ideas from this very site, from the weddings we’ve photographed and from our family traditions – and turned them into a day that is truly Natalie and Hugh. But as beautiful as tomorrow will be, I know that the true beauty of the day will be found in this next step of Natalie and Huey’s relationship. The beauty of two people not only finding one another at such a young age, but declaring their love and dedication to each other in front of everyone that they hold most dear.
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to celebrate two people who mean so much to me. And even though I know most of you won’t be to celebrate with us tomorrow, it would be amazing if you could leave Natalie and Huey a sweet note on this post!
Even though Natalie’s wedding journey is almost over, we’ve been documenting these last few steps and we’re excited to share a few more DIY projects, thoughts and the wedding itself with you lovely readers. And now that our schedules are a little more clear from this wedding, we have some big ideas and plans that we’re bursting to share with you all! And before you get any ideas, no, none of us are pregnant.
